Through the poster, I tried presenting the results of Genome-wide Association Study (GWAS) which was conducted on high-altitude hypertensive population. The study involved the whole genome genotyping using Illumina HumanOmni2.5 million SNPs chip and its data analysis using various statistical and bioinformatics software to discover the high p-value SNPs that may have association with essential hypertension. Further, extensive pathway network analysis was done using list of genes.
