In my day job, I work for the University of Florida providing homeowners with gardening information. I write news releases, features, scripts, and other pieces for GardeningInAMinute.com and for the Florida Master Gardener program. I also take many of the photos that appear on the Gardening in a Minute Flickr site.
I spend my free time pursuing an array of creative interests, including writing a craft blog. For four years, I wrote a column under the pen name "The Sassy Crafter" for my local alt-monthly, The Satellite. My work has been featured in books, magazines, and blogs.
