Originally from the Midwest, I received BS and MS degrees in biology from Western Michigan University and an MBA in biosciences management from North Carolina State University. I was most recently the Bioscience Industrial Development Program Director at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, focused on the creation, retention, and expansion of life science jobs across North Carolina.
