With application for any teambuilding One client from a large public health organization used Four Groups to optimize the structural element during a 3-group merger. There are 6 action modules within 4G that help steer your team to success
Each one BUILDS on the one before
First, help managers save time and make better decisions
Second, add more value through Business Partnering
Third, IMPROVE RECRUITMENT decisions and process
Fourth, see OD and change management through the perspective of relationships
Fifth, enhance leadership and coaching activities
Sixth, use advanced analytics for Performance Talent management Engagement Sickness and absence
This creates many possibilities for the whole employee life cycle
Are your people losing the equivalent of one day a week to relationship friction, or is it two days a week? It bears repeating: 20 - 40 % of performance is determined by the quality of peoples relationships

Editor's Notes

  • #2: This presentation introduces an exciting new tool that allows you to unlock the largest single part of the performance puzzle.
  • #3: Assuming everyone on your team is technically proficient, then the quality of human relationships determines 20 to 40% of performance. According to the top business schools listed above.
  • #4: Yet, until now there were no tools to predict and organize relationships within workgroups
  • #5: Which creates some big problems
  • #6: Problems like (read captions) - probe
  • #7: Read captions - probe
  • #8: Now Four Groups offers the 4G tool, which can help show you the road to success.
  • #9: By predicting behaviors, relationships and culture in real time.
  • #10: Read caption
  • #11: We do this with a similar assessment to the ones that you are using now, but 4G adds unique new dimensions that give it enhanced powers for management good.
  • #12: Unlike these legacy systems, which generally rely on measuring preferences and traits . . .
  • #13: The 4G assessment measures how people process information.
  • #14: While we measure it differently, one of 4gs outputs is similar to legacy systems. We use a 3-character system; all such profiles use the middle letter (in our case S for sensing, N for iNtuition, T for Thinking and F for Feeling and some use the final letter i for introvert and e for extrovert no other system uses the numbers, which place subjects in one of four social groups. And no other system provides the four colored lines, which represent the amount of friction in a bilateral relationship. As you can see above, the letters show only a mild correlation to the quality of relationships (no red lines), but the numbers predict which cultural group the subject fits into and does predict the issues around relationships.
  • #15: So 4G can give you the same individual report that makes the legacy systems like NEO, Caliper, DISC and Meyers-Briggs so valuable, but it also adds the information related to the subjects preferred culture, doubling the insight.
  • #16: The individual information is in Column 1, so you can see the second dimension 4G adds. Now look at Column 2, which adds yet another dimension. 4G gives you four times the insight.
  • #17: And the information from Column 2 comes with its own reports to make all this information useable. In fact, the unique Social Relationship report is even more powerful than the individual Social Profile
  • #18: For the manager, all this information fits readily into the Visual Team Builder. Each players profile and the amount of friction predicted is right there, and the team members can undergo coaching to take advantage of synergies or to overcome friction, or where possible, to reorganize reporting and workflow to build the highest performing team.
  • #19: It works anywhere two or more people have to work together.
  • #20: caption
  • #21: caption
  • #22: First, help managers save time and make better decisions through Assessment, individual and team debriefs and using the VTB
  • #23: Second, add more value through Business Partnering through internal or external Consulting and workshops/coaching
  • #24: Third, IMPROVE RECRUITMENT decisions and process and set up the most powerful onboarding possible
  • #25: Fourth, see OD and change management through the perspective of relationships with Organizational consulting for reorgs and teambuilding of all types
  • #26: F activities by using information about 16 areas of personal development that are personalized for each subject. Careers Guidance Coaching & Mentoring Communication, Praise & Feedback Conflict Management Creativity and Problem Solving Dealing with Change Emotional Intelligence (EI) Interviewing Leadership Negotiation Self Development Self Motivation & Stress Strategy & Organizational Culture The Art of Delegation The First 100 Days Time Management
  • #27: Finally, set up analytics to compare 4G attributes to human resources metrics, allowing you to put hard numbers on these soft issues.
  • #28: Four Groups can be there to support you for any or all of the employee live cycle.
  • #29: caption
  • #30: In 8 years in Great Britain, Four Groups has developed a blue-chip client roster
  • #31: (ask for your planned outcome) Would you like to see the Visual Team Builder in action? The full impact of this tool comes form seeing yourself in the tool. May I schedule you for a complementary assessment and debrief? If nothing else, it will give you powerful insight into yourself and give me a guide on how best to communicate with you. Is this something we should meet about, to explore in depth?
