Mohamed Shareef is currently Vice Rector at the Cyryx College, a leading higher education and training institute in the Maldives.
He was the Chief Information Officer (ClO) at the National Centre for Information Technology (NCIT), Government of Maldives. NCIT is the central organization responsible for developing Electronic Government in the country. Mohamed Shareef has been actively involved in the development of Electronic Government in Maldives since 2003, being engaged in managing the development of the Government Network of Maldives, e-Government Service Platform and a number of e-Government applications.
