I did my Mechanical Engineering from SPCE(Mumbai) Affiliated to Mumbai University in 1974. Joined ESSO/HPCL in August 1974. Work in different departments and places at various positions, including heading Visakh Refinery as Executive Director.For some period look after the JV's Visakh, Corporate Planning and Projects. Was nominated as MD(TECH) in JV of HPCL & Aditya Birla Group-Manglore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd.Successfully completed/commissioned Phase I and initiated Phase II activities before moving to Delhi/Bathinda to initiate project of HPCL Subsidiary Guru Gobind Singh Refineries Ltd.-Bathinda Refinery in Punjab.Later on selected as MD in the same company.
