She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Plant Pathology discipline from Banaras Hindu University in 2013. She is a recipient of Senior Research Fellowship of ICAR, New Delhi, in Plant pathology in 2009. She also qualified ICAR-NET in Plant Pathology. She has published more than 34 research papers, short communications and reviews in national and international journals of repute. Currently she is working as an Assistant Professor in Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar..
