She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Plant Pathology discipline from Banaras Hindu University in 2013. She is a recipient of Senior Research Fellowship of ICAR, New Delhi, in Plant pathology in 2009. She also qualified ICAR-NET in Plant Pathology. She has published more than 34 research papers, short communications and reviews in national and international journals of repute.
