Jamal S. Al Aref, is ANERA鈥檚 Deputy Country Director since January 1998. He has successfully managed a number of Community Development Programs funded by USAID. Currently, he serves as the Chief of Party for the Palestinian Community Infrastructure Development Program (PCID); a $115 million, five-year program funded by USAID, started in March 2013.
Previously, Mr. Al Aref has assumed senior management positions with UNRWA (1986-1994), the Arab Bank (1994-1996) and the Palestinian Housing Council (1996-1997). He is experienced in organizational and engineering projects management within Private, UN and International Non-Governmental Organizations.
