I do research at the crossroads of systems biology and engineering, covering topics such as protein engineering in retrosynthesis of metabolic pathways with applications in bioproduction and synthetic biology; molecular and structural signatures of specificity (promiscuity), affinity and efficiency of protein-mediated interactions; and machine learning prediction tools for biological networks and other complex networks analysis.
