About
living in the moment and starting over!!!
I've been going through the trials and tribulations of what a foreigner goes through when they enter another country. I have experienced the strange looks as I walk by, the silence when my presence is noticed and the uneasy feeling when I'm the only Mexican in a crowd of Koreans. I think it's great. It is pretty cool being different for once. The initial culture shock has worn off and I'm feeling pretty good. The food took a while to become accustomed to, but in reality, it is pretty dam good. I really miss my mothers frijoles, caldos and guisados, but the sambap, bulgogi and the galbi are comparable. I've become acclimated to my new environment.
