I am a Biologist with a degree from the University of Barcelona and a Ph.D. on Bioinformatics at the Institute of Biotechnology and Biomedicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. My PhD research was focused on developing bioinformatic tools to study the prediction of MHC class II epitopes using PSSM and SVM methods, to this objective I have implemented analysis pipelines (mostly in Perl) associated with databases (MySQL and PostgreSQL) that has been integrated into web services.
