鹿児島県奄美群島の離島「喜界島」は、サンゴ礁でできた真っ白なビーチが美しい農業の盛んな島です。村おこしNPO法人ECOFFでは、喜界島の地域活性化のために「まずは、喜界島に行って、体験して、知って、それを伝える」ことを目的に現地に10日間滞在するボランティア活動を実施しています。このスライドは、2016年の夏の活動の様子を現地に派遣された「島インターン」がまとめたものです。 This is a slide about volunteer tourism in Kagoshima prefecture in Japan. Our mission is giving a chance to visit small village in Japan for young people. Once they visit local communities in Okinawa, they'll understand how life in small island great is, and also how indigenous people's knowledge is priceless. Through this programme, we hope we can change small villages more better and more fun.
