OUTCOME EVALUATION The choice of images is eloquent, illustrating both the joyful childs world and the bleak, lonely adults world the poem describes. The poems refrain is retained. The sound: even if there are several mispronounced words, it succeeds in transmitting the melancholy tone of the poem.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT  2nd Pol ECO/HUM Adriana Activity: Diagnosis beginning of the year- Aims: assess & test  last year contents & skills through a written study guide, debate and test
I elicited previous knowledge through a written questionnaire (input) Students made peer groups of about three or four to answer questions, do researching on case studies, interprete & draw graphs  to account for their answers We discussed, clarified concepts orally through groupal answers and teachers explanation (if necessary)  Students & teacher  checked  concepts in class which took a couple of classes. Written test & diagnosis report (output)
STRATEGIES Problem solving: Read the questionnaire, texts & last year notes as a whole. Simulation (taking different roles to account for their arguments: scientists, governors, etc) Development of their own project (debate in class & among peers, oral  exposition to account for their knowledge/ answers) using technology (internet). Case  studies: go over cases on their bibliography and particularly on Mountserrat (earthquake) INTELLIGENCES Interperpersonal Logical-mathematical Visual Linguistic

Sharing our pride Project work: Study of a master. The idea was to study the work of a local artist, researching its technique, and observing their work critically in order to reproduce it in the most accurate way. Chosen artists: Jos辿 Malanca, Mart鱈n Malharro, Juan del Prete, Bib鱈 Zogb辿, Emilio Pettoruti, Xul Solar.

Developed Competences: Saber conocer : Observe, analyze and reach their own conclusions. Develop and put into practice the concrete thinking. Use their own intuitions, feelings and sensations to explore and create. Saber Hacer: Use of proper tools for a good result. Use of the emotional intelligence to obtain a superior artistic expression.
2nd Pol HUM/NAT  ART/ Paula Type of activity: ART- DESIGN: FASHION DESIGN Format : E-learning Students were asked to prepare a project for an imaginary company, designing what would be the costumes for the performers at the companys conference. Aim : to learn about fashion design, to get an online introduction to the world of fashion design and to be able to provide the teacher with a project similar to that of an IGCSE Examination.  Restrictions : The design had to follow certain instructions and the instructions included a link to a real design project presented to a company. Competences : saber conocer/saber hacer/saber ser persona. Intelligences : linguistic / kinaesthetic / visual / intrapersonal.
Consigna 1: Research OP ART (optical art) and its relation with fashion design.  Consigna 2: Work on a design for a man or a woman, working in an international conference on OP ART. You are a creative at a multinational company and  you need to design the uniforms for the artists  who are going to be performing at the closing of the conference. Choose any artists you like (circus, dancers, singers...).  Consigna 3: Prepare a  Powerpoint file, with 3 slides .  1st SLIDE : introduction to OP ART and fashion design.  2nd SLIDE : include all of your ideas for your final design. Textures, colours, fabrics (telas), type of dress or suit... all the things you would do on paper, but you need to do it on images. USE the croquis of the human figure and try to dress them. 3rd SLIDE : it will be your  final design , the one to present to your boss for approval. It should be tidy and clear. You should include a man/woman (depending on your choice) as seen from the front and from the back.

  • 3. Mailed instructions Find a partner. Choose one of the poems studied. Task: In pairs, you have to turn the poem youve chosen into a video or animated Powerpoint presentation. Sound: The complete poem read. Image: Pictures that illustrate the words or images the poem describes To achieve a top mark, your presentation must sound correctly and the images must be appropriate and coordinated.   • 5. OUTCOME EVALUATION The choice of images is eloquent, illustrating both the joyful childs world and the bleak, lonely adults world the poem describes. The poems refrain is retained. The sound: even if there are several mispronounced words, it succeeds in transmitting the melancholy tone of the poem.

  • 11. Sharing our pride Project work: Study of a master. The idea was to study the work of a local artist, researching its technique, and observing their work critically in order to reproduce it in the most accurate way. Chosen artists: Jos辿 Malanca, Mart鱈n Malharro, Juan del Prete, Bib鱈 Zogb辿, Emilio Pettoruti, Xul Solar.

  • 14. 2nd Pol HUM/NAT ART/ Paula Type of activity: ART- DESIGN: FASHION DESIGN Format : E-learning Students were asked to prepare a project for an imaginary company, designing what would be the costumes for the performers at the companys conference. Aim : to learn about fashion design, to get an online introduction to the world of fashion design and to be able to provide the teacher with a project similar to that of an IGCSE Examination. Restrictions : The design had to follow certain instructions and the instructions included a link to a real design project presented to a company. Competences : saber conocer/saber hacer/saber ser persona. Intelligences : linguistic / kinaesthetic / visual / intrapersonal.
  • 15. Consigna 1: Research OP ART (optical art) and its relation with fashion design. Consigna 2: Work on a design for a man or a woman, working in an international conference on OP ART. You are a creative at a multinational company and you need to design the uniforms for the artists who are going to be performing at the closing of the conference. Choose any artists you like (circus, dancers, singers...). Consigna 3: Prepare a Powerpoint file, with 3 slides . 1st SLIDE : introduction to OP ART and fashion design. 2nd SLIDE : include all of your ideas for your final design. Textures, colours, fabrics (telas), type of dress or suit... all the things you would do on paper, but you need to do it on images. USE the croquis of the human figure and try to dress them. 3rd SLIDE : it will be your final design , the one to present to your boss for approval. It should be tidy and clear. You should include a man/woman (depending on your choice) as seen from the front and from the back.
