SUNY Plattsburgh will host a new "Believe It or Not!" series in the Feinberg Library featuring topics that are entertaining and thought-provoking. The series includes three presentations in September, October, and November 2013 in the library's third-floor Reading Room, which are open to the public. The events will cover the topics of everyone being a hater, ecology as roadkill, and bluegrass music making a comeback.

On Friday, the women's rugby team travels to York University for a 7pm game. The SUNY Plattsburgh Gospel Choir will hold their annual "Soulful Christmas Concert" on December 8th in Hawkins Hall. The 65-voice choir and 9-piece band will perform traditional Christmas favorites as well as songs like "Joyful Joyful" and "Hosanna". The award-winning bluegrass band Gibson Brothers, named "Entertainer of the Year" for the second straight year by the International Bluegrass Music Association, will perform a concert at their alma mater SUNY Plattsburgh on November 16th.
