- BFP-2 tripped at 3:52 AM on January 12, 2023 due to a thermal overload as indicated by the 49 signal from the relay. - The motor had been running for 5 minutes at 65-78A before tripping. - The relay blocked motor restart for 4 minutes according to the thermal curve.

Effect on Plant: Nil Description of events: Before event, BFP-2 was running for TG-1 and BFP-1 was on standby. At 03:46:56.204 thermal content exceed alarm came on BFP-2 relay. At 03:52:04.924 relay gave tripping command (86B-self reset) on 49 (Thermal O/L-MPTTR) and BFP-2 motor tripped. Subsequently, at 03:52:08.582 trip command from DCS operated. Process started BFP-2 again at 04:04:59.904, but at 04:41:07:340 BFP-2 tripped on trip command from DCS (front journal bearing temperature high).
