This webinar will introduce the Grid Edge Security and Interoperability Alliance, or GEISA, an effort within LF Energy to address application interoperability at the very edge of the utility network: meters and other distribution automation devices. Over the last decade platform manufacturers have introduced the ability to run applications on electricity meters and other edge devices. Unfortunately, while many of these efforts have been built on Linux, they havent been interoperable. APIs and execution environment have varied from one manufacturer to the next making it impossible for utilities to obtain applications that they can run across a fleet of different devices. For utilities that want to minimize their supply chain risk by obtaining equipment from multiple suppliers, they are forced to run and maintain multiple separate management systems. Applications available for one device may need to be ported to run on another, or they may not be available at all.
GEISA addresses this by creating a vendor neutral specification for utility edge computing environments. - 7. How much powerful is AGNI-V? The range of this missile is greater than 5500 km typically designed for nuclear weapons delivery. Once fired, it cannot be stopped. It travels faster than a bullet and can carry 1,000 kilograms of nuclear weapons. It can destroy many cities of China, Pakistan, some countries of Europe & Asia also.
- 8. RANGE OF AGNI-V Range of AGNI-V is about 5000 km to 8000 km. It means with warhead is about 5000 km, but without warhead is 8000 km.
- 9. Reason behind the creation of AGNI-V AGNI-V is created to meet current threat perceptions and security concerns. The threat comes from China & Pakistan (neighbours of India). This AGNI-V strengthened Indias defense system. AGNI-V is created for deterrence for peace and AGNI-V TEAM security.
- 10. 1st Launching of AGNI-V It was successfully test fired on 19th April 2012 at 8:07 am from Wheeler Island off the Odisha coast. The 1st stage takes it 35 km above, 2nd stage pushes it about 150 km, & 3rd stages takes it 300 km above. Missile finally reaches height of 600 km.
