Our association was founded in Kastamonu, Turkey on June 10, 2013 by seven founding members. The association, abbreviated as AKED, aims to conduct local and international studies contributing to education and culture for all of society. It seeks to activate all types of education, culture, and youth activities; ensure their development; and encourage organizations working in these fields.

- 3. * Our association was founded in Kastamonu on June 10, 2013 by seven founding members. ‘AKED’ is the abbreviation of our association. * The overall objective of our association is to make local and international studies which will contribute to all society in particular education and culture.
- 5. * to activate of all types of education, culture and youth activities, * to ensure the development of them * to encourage people and organizations working on this issue.
- 6. * To organize conferences, panels and courses by considering the needs in the field of education and cultural issues,
- 7. * To make young people take part in the management of all kinds of educational institutions and companies they work for and to ensure them to develop themselves and their creativity.
- 8. * To provide cooperation, solidarity and rapprochement between domestic and international youth organizations in order to make the young people more active in the issues of peace at home and world and in environmental and social development fields.
- 9. * By preparing national and international projects or participating in projects; to contribute to the development of the young people and adults’ improving their professional skills, acquiring vocation, arts, crafts, education, culture and science.
- 10. * To contribute to an increase in the level of education of all sections of society through training activities.

- 13. * By creating a quality environment with mutual understanding and friendship; -to make educational and cultural activities that will revive of our cultural heritage, contribute to our regional and national development.
- 15. During the 2014 Call for Proposals for Vocational Adult Education, our association prepared a project for National Agency named “Examining European Quality Assurance Framework of Disabled At Vocational Education” and also our assosiation was involved as a partner of the project.
- 16. 10 members of our association went to Sweden, Italy and Belgium for a week and made observations about the project.
- 17. By this project our participants learnt the disabled students’ diagnostics in EU countries, training curriculum, environment, educational materials, differentiated educational practices and quality indicators in schools, quality of implementation, they had the opportunity to update their theoretical and practical information.
- 18. During the project implementation stage, our members have learned the quality application process, examined the forms, files and other observation tools. They learnt these forms by observing the places where the quality practices were used.
- 19. Our members saw the quality standards as practical, and learnt how they implemented them in practice, examined the education environment, they learned the the role of the private sector and NGOs in private education and have developed their skills to communicate with foreigners.
- 21. During the period of Erasmus + 2015 call for proposals; our association has been a partner for an Adult Training Project titled of “Initiative Parenting” with the coordination of Poland.

- 23. A Partner for a Vocational Training Project titled of “Vocational Guidance for Disabled” with the coordination of Greece.
