PRESENT
Since finishing with Dali, I have been fortunate to be able to focus and pursue some personal goals with the ACF (Army
Cadet Force) and traveling around the world. This is something that I made a purposeful decision in taking time out from
my career to exploit. Having done a lot of travelling on business to many countries and fabulous cities, I did not get the
chance to explore them so I used the last several months to revisit many of them and see them from a tourist aspect,
the architecture and the culture. It was also good to have some of my contacts to support me and to be able to socialise
with them.
05/2013 - Present Army Cadet Forces (Reserves). Sergeant Sussex ACF & Ardingly College
MTI (Military Training Instructor) the training cadets in the MoD Army syllabus. Also Duke of Edinburgh representative.
In addition to my commercial leadership experience is my ACF leadership experience, I have to plan and plot the
management of other adult staff and senior cadet NCOs, ensuring that all elements of the military training syllabus is
being met, carry out risk assessments, ensure health and safety is met at all times. I have to implement the training
programmes, instruct and asses cadets as they progress through their Army Proficiency Course. Awaiting Officer
Selection.
As a cadre commander, I can be responsible for the management of 10-20 adult staff and up to 100 cadets of all ages
and ranks. Within the detachment, I have up to 30 cadets parading twice a week. Key to the development of the cadets
is delivering the right training for both their cadet career progression and their own personal development into young
adulthood. I need to deliver a fun and exciting environment, manage recruiting and retention, manage all resources,
assets and resources, this includes weapon handling and weapon safety.

Established the subsiduary for a leading Chinese manaufacturer of thermal imaging systems for the security, defence,
law enforcement, hunting and thermograhic markets. Managed the development of the EMEA region.

 Created the marketing plan to generate awareness and interest in the company, its products and services, using
direct and in-direct activities.
 Operational management of the company. Responsible for 6 UK staff and 10 remote staff in China.
