- 13. What I Learned From This Assignment Job Hunting: The soft skills I possess have the ability to travel over from job to job as those are key factors that equate to my emotional quotient. The hard skills I have learned and learning are going to cater to the positions that I will reap personal satisfaction from. Education: College has provided me with a well rounded education that qualifies me for a variety of jobs. I will have to pursue graduate school to qualify for the salary I desire and to enter an employer at a position higher than entry level. The Experience: This assignment reminded me not to settle. As I looked through countless open positions I realized that I have the ability to continue to grow and not to settle. To me, settling is the equivalent of failure. I have not gone through all of my trials and tribulations to fail. I look forward to personally continuing this assignment and applying to other possible positions that will cater to the needs of myself and my family.
