S坦n materials que tenen la capacitat de recordar la forma original,
incl炭s vencent forces en contra, quan assolim temperatures
determinades.

El primer que va sortir, va ser el NITINOL, al 1962, que 辿s un aliatge
de n鱈quel i titani, que t辿 estructures cristal揃lines diferents segons la
temperatura a la qual est.
4. ALIATGES AMB MEMRIA DE FORMA (2)
El Nitinol,s'utilitza per:
--- Dilatar art竪ries: cal prendre un anticoagulant per evitar l'atac de les plaquetes. Es
posa el Nitinol ben estirat a baixa temperatura i quan assoleix la temperatura corporal,
canvia de forma, de manera que adopta forma corbada quedant com un refor巽 en forma
d'anell que dilata les art竪ries. S'ha de recobrir amb materials hidr嘆fobs per evitar que
les plaquetes es dipositin a la superf鱈cie del metall.
--- En ortod嘆ncia: per las braquets , ja que en assolir la temperatura corporal de
l'interior de la boca, queden fixats sense necessitat de tensar-los.
--- Muntures d'ulleres superelstiques: si es deforma la muntura, 辿s suficient passar-les
per aigua calenta i recuperen la seva forma original.
--- Dispositius de vlvules de seguretat, que s'activen en arribar a una temperatura
determinada i perillosa.
5. ALIATGES AMB MEMRIA DE FORMA (3)
--- Frontisses automtiques: per obrir finestres en els hivernacles: en arribar a una
temperatura determinada a l'interior de l'hivernacle, la frontissa s'obre automticament i
quan la temperatura baixa, es torna a tancar.
--- Jocs de mgia: es d坦na una forma determinada a un filferro de Nitinol, a una
temperatura una mica alta (uns 50尊C, amb forma de lletra per exemple). El mag mostra
el filferro de Nitinol a temperatura ambient com un ferro normal. En posar-lo sota una
bombeta potent o aigua calenta, es transforma en una lletra o una altra forma
predeterminada.

7. FIBRA DE CARBONI (2)
Per fer-nos una idea de les propietats anteriors, podem comparar la
fibra de carboni amb lacer i tenim que:
--- El m嘆dul de resist竪ncia a la tracci坦 辿s 3 vegades superior a lacer
--- La densitat de la fibra de carboni 辿s 4,5 vegades inferior
--- El principal problema de la fibra de carboni 辿s el seu preu. s cara
perqu竪 t辿 molt bones qualitats mecniques i sobretot pel seu cost坦s
proc辿s de producci坦. Tamb辿 per l炭s de termostables que dificulta el
proc辿s de creaci坦 de la pe巽a final, i que necessita una maquinria
complexa i especialitzada.
Aplicacions:
Grcies a les seves propietats mecniques i al seu pes redu誰t, sutilitza
en la industria de laeronutica, lautomobilisme, en vaixells, per fer
bicicletes, etc. Cada cop m辿s tamb辿 es fa servir en articles de consum
com per exemple els patins en l鱈nia, les canyes de pescar, cascs per
anar amb moto, ordinadors porttils, o incl炭s amb joieria.
8. FIBRA DE VIDRE
La油 fibra de vidre油 辿s un material format per fibres extremadament
fines de油 vidre油 o油 plstic.
s molt bon油 a誰llant t竪rmic油 i de l'electricitat. T辿 una gran resist竪ncia
mecnica i 辿s dif鱈cilment油 inflamable. Normalment s'utilitza per a
roba industrial i com a a誰llant t竪rmic i ac炭stic i en forma de油
fibra 嘆ptica油 per la transmissi坦 de senyals llum鱈niques, i assolint una
alta capacitat de transmissi坦 de dades.
9. FIBRA PTICA
La油 fibra 嘆ptica油 辿s un filament flexible de secci坦 circular fet d'algun
tipus de油 vidre油 o油 plstic油 capa巽 de transportar feixos de llum en el seu
interior.
