Field Piping Engineer JGC Middle East FZE, Ras Laffan Qatar Oct. 2008- July 2010 Position Summary:  Responsible for the preparation of field changes, site queries, site instructions, technical deviations and reviews piping engineering documents to meet construction progress and schedule for the Process Scope of the biggest GTL plant in the world today.  Reviews spooled isometric drawings and field warehouse requisitions. Assists site material engineer in inspection of pipe fittings, valves, piping specialty items, and inspection of vendor shop testing facilities for valves testing.  Performs shop walk down at piping fabrication shops to check the common mistakes of fit-up, fabrication, and consistency to engineering documents such as isometric drawings, project standard drawings, project support standard drawings, and site instructions.  Responds to supervisors of shop fabrication and field installation queries.
