The Atlantic Rotterdam is a three-legged self-elevating drilling rig built in 1992 and upgraded in 2002. It is 239.74 feet long and 225 feet wide with a maximum water depth of 204.93 feet and drilling depth of variable loads between 2,808 to 3,360 metric tons. The rig has accommodations for 140 passengers and a helideck that can support a Sikorsky SR-61-N helicopter. It is powered by three CAT D399 engines and one CAT 3512 engine totaling 4,845 horsepower.
