- 1. My Birthday Present By Sarah McDonald LA hr:3 Me and my parents were heading into the parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings. As we pulled in I was ready to push the car door open and rush into Buffalo Wild Wings. When I got in there I was anxiously waiting for my parents to come. I was hoping that we were able to get a table right away because the faster we got a table the faster I could open my birthday present! The waiter asked us if we wanted a table inside or outside. We chose to sit outside. As we sat down I just smiled at them anxiously waiting for them to realize what I wanted, but they just smiled back keeping me in suspense. I have waited long enough, so i finally just said," Can I please just open my present!" Then my dad told me that I would have to wait until we were done eating.The waiter came and took our orders and came back with our food twenty minutes later.I gobbled up some of my food and decided to save the rest for later. While I waited for my parents to finish up, I took my present and looked at it tyring to guess what it was. I thought it was a phone but no way they get me one when I was turning ten! Finally when my parents finished there meal it was time for me to open my present! I gradually grasped the present and started to open it up. When I was finished taking off the wrapping paper I noticed it was a phone!!!! My eyes got wide with surprise and I hugged my parents and thanked them probably twenty times. I was so excited, i opened it and closed it and again and again! This was definitely the best birthday ever!!!:) My costume will horrify people. My hair is as gray as a tornado. My eyes are as beady as an owls. My face is even more scary. It is as white as a ghost on a dark and scary Halloween night. I have a scar on my face and I have
