When they walk into the cave there is treasure everywhere. They also both took some which means that they are both theives. Another similarity is that they both Aladdin and Ali Baba are very poor. I know that they are poor because they both steal stuff so they may live. Ali Baba stole treasure and Aladdin stole treasure and food. Another similarity is that they both have animals. Although they have different animals. Ali Baba has a donkey and Aladdin has a monkey and the monkey turns into a elephant from the genie. One last similarity is that they are both supposed to die and neither of them end up dying. Aladdin was supposed to be hung and drowned. Ali Baba was supposed to be killed with a dagger, oil, and get cut into 6 pieces. A difference is that in Aladdin there is a genie and then in Ali Baba there is not a genie in the story. The genie in Aladdin grants Aladdin 3 wishes and also the bad guy wants the genie lamp and in Ali Baba there isnt even a genie lamp. Another difference is that in the story Ali Baba there is a password to get into the cave full of treasure. In Aladdin there is not a password there is only a key to get in. The password to get in the cave in Ali Baba is open sesime and close sesime. Another similarity is that in the story Ali Baba, Ali Baba is married in the beginning. In the movie Aladdin he is not married in the beginning but although he does get married at the end on the story.
