Nearly 1 billion people in developing countries do not have enough food and suffer from malnutrition. Action Against Hunger was founded in France in 1979 to combat hunger and provide access to food, water, and healthcare, especially in areas impacted by natural disasters. Over the past 30 years, Action Against Hunger has expanded to 40 countries, saving lives through addressing malnutrition, disease, and the impacts of natural disasters by providing basic healthcare, farming equipment, food, and clean water.
