With the updates to iOS and Android phones released earlier this year, Web Components are now supported natively. With libraries such as Polymer that are built on top of Web Components, it is now possible to easily create fast Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) without the overhead of a framework. In this workshop, we'll begin with a brief introduction to Web Components and Polymer, and then dive into hands-on experiences with the core aspects of Web Components: the <template> tag, Custom Elements, and the Shadow DOM.

This session is the first ever in which we will have two units working together to give you a nuanced insight on all aspects of integration testing. We’ll start off exploring the world of integration testing, defining the terminology, and creating a general understanding of what phases and kinds of testing exist. Later on we’ll delve into integration test automation, ranging from database integration testing to selenium UI testing and even as far as LDAP integration testing.

European Life Sciences Infrastructure for Biological Information aims to provide data infrastructure for biological information sharing. It is running a pilot project with proteomics data to enable standardized submission and dissemination of data between major proteomics resources like PRIDE and PeptideAtlas.
