Three surveys found that business process management (BPM) was ranked highly by business executives. Chief Information Officers saw BPM suites as the top technology for business value. Another survey found BPM as a promising future technology. A third survey ranked BPM as the number one technology project for organizations in 2007. Implementing BPM using IT solutions like a BPM suite can help organizations reduce process lag times, have a single view of tasks, ensure tasks don't get lost, only enter data once, and better manage business rules and policies.
