We ran trials on this method for a few years as did other organizations and individuals. Ultimately, we did not find its efficacy to outweigh the labor involved. Therefore, Green Shoots decided not to launch the product. We have however had real success with foliar applications using our Green Shoots Foam Herbicide Dispenser. Artificial Light Harvesting: Solution for Sustainable Energy and FuelMohammad A. Halim
?
This document summarizes a presentation about artificial light harvesting as a solution for sustainable energy and fuel. It discusses how natural photosynthesis works and the challenge of developing renewable energy sources. It then describes some of the key components that could enable artificial photosynthesis, including antenna/reaction center complexes using porphyrins and polypyridyl complexes to harvest light similarly to chlorophyll, and dye-sensitized solar cells using photosensitizing dyes like zinc porphyrins and ruthenium complexes along with titanium dioxide and iodide/triiodide electrolytes. While natural photosynthesis is complex to mimic fully, these components show promise but require more development to optimize light absorption, charge transfer, catalysis and overall efficiency

- Day care refers to the first continuous physical separation of a child from their primary caregiver, usually their mother. It includes settings like nurseries, childminders, and nannies.
- The main areas of child development that research has looked at in relation to day care include aggression, attachment/social development, and peer relations.
- One study that demonstrated negative effects was the NICHD study from 2003. This longitudinal study found that children who spent more time in day care of any kind or quality were rated by teachers as more disobedient, aggressive, and assertive at age 5 compared to children not in day care.

The presentation explores ways to improve methods by reducing the quantity of herbicide used and minimizing off-target impacts. It describes experiments with injecting herbicides into knotweed rhizomes and bending stems to expose tissue before treatment. The goal is developing more effective and sustainable control techniques.

Creatines Untold Story and How 30-Year-Old Lessons Can Shape the FutureSteve Jennings
?
Creatine burst into the public consciousness in 1992 when an investigative reporter inside the Olympic Village in Barcelona caught wind of British athletes using a product called Ergomax C150. This led to an explosion of interest in C and questions about C the ingredient after high-profile British athletes won multiple gold medals.
I developed Ergomax C150, working closely with the late and great Dr. Roger Harris (1944 2024), and Prof. Erik Hultman (1925 2011), the pioneering scientists behind the landmark studies of creatine and athletic performance in the early 1990s.
Thirty years on, these are the slides I used at the Sports & Active Nutrition Summit 2025 to share the story, the lessons from that time, and how and why creatine will play a pivotal role in tomorrows high-growth active nutrition and healthspan categories.
