Our Customer Needs Customers need many types of parts in many different commodities: mechanical, optical, electrical, chemical, active, packing materials, jigs & fixtures, MROs, etc. New R&D oriented companies in North America need us to provide the entire supply chain service to customers (sourcing, purchasing, SQE, incoming inspection, logistics, planning, manufacturing operations), and/or outsource the supply chain management to us. In the current global arena, companies are looking to remain competitive by choosing the most suitable suppliers that can provide materials at the lowest total cost of ownership. All companies demand yearly, quarterly and monthly cost reduction. It is a key performance indicator for a company. After years of continuous cost reduction, further reducing material cost is a big concern for senior management. Bright Blue Sea can relieve your day to day concern.

Customers want Bright Blue Sea to source and qualify low cost, high quality suppliers, perform first article inspection, perform supplier evaluation, and audit. Customers need us to provide DFX and NPI project supply chain management services. Customers want consistent performance on technology, quality, responsiveness, delivery, and cost (TQRDC) so they can just open the box and use the parts. Customers need us to provide supply chain management training and consulting to them to significantly improve their SCM level.

Our Capabilities Our company was established in April 2014 by international supply chain professionals who have over 25 years of supply chain management experience in famous international companies. We have Certified Quality Auditors (CQA), Certified Purchasing Managers (CPM), Certified Professional Of Supply Chain Management(CPSM), Six Sigma Black Belt to support all quality and business needs. Our CQAs are certified by the America Society of Quality. Our CPM and CPSM are certified by the Institute For Supply Management in US.

We have Approved Vendor List with excellent performance. We are specialized in sourcing, supplier quality management, commodity management, business negotiation, material localization, logistics, customs clearance, and continuous cost reduction. We are very proficient on DFX and NPI supply chain management. We have strong operational experience in cross-functional and multicultural business environments in both North America and Asia.

Our Achievements Supplied numerous companies and R&D centers located in US, Canada, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, etc. Several American R&D oriented companies have outsourced their whole supply chain to us. We got involved at concept design stage, starting from DFX to sourcing, sample building, FAI, design validation up until ramping up to mass production. We have provided Design for Excellence (Design for manufacturability, Design for cost, Design for supply chain, .) recommendation for many R&D projects, ensuring that we design it right at the earliest stages, do it right first time, and produce it at the lowest cost with locally available materials. Held an event with Skydeck startup companies and BICI(Beijing Institute of Collaborative Innovation) in Feb 2016 and started to provide the whole supply chain management service ever since.

We have improved material localization rates from 0% to 70%. We have provided material cost reduction of 15%~70% for each single part by localization/second sourcing and have achieved 5% continuous cost reduction quarter over quarter by negotiation/supplier management.
