largest royal residence in the world
            still in use.
Maundy Thursday is the day before Good Friday .
     On that day the Monarch ceremonially
distributes small silver coins known as Maundy
        money to a group of old people.
Hundreds of years ago, their
soldiers began this custom. They shook hands to
      show that they didnt have a sword.
British people drink 165 million
     cups of tea every day.
It is split into three large time periods, each
 represented by a main author or work: Old
English (Beowulf), Middle English (Geoffrey
   Chaucer), and Modern English (William
                  Shakespeare).
