CEA Project Logistics Thailand was contracted to transport a 17-meter catamaran ferry weighing 17 tonnes from Chonburi, Thailand to Freetown, Sierra Leone in West Africa. The ferry was lifted from the water by a marine straddle carrier and loaded onto a custom frame attached to a lowbed trailer. Due to height restrictions, the top section was removed and transported separately. After a 7 day storage period, the ferry was transported to port and loaded onto a shipping vessel. CEA provided transportation, storage, export documentation, and supervision of the entire process over 7 days to deliver the ferry overseas.
