- 2. Page 2 PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Power Production Control Room Operator Constantly monitored generators and electrical power demand. Assisted in minor repairs of generators and troubleshoot faults. Maintained all documentation and scheduled regular generator services and daily refueling missions. Chief Engineer Responsible for all engine room duties while aboard numerous vessels of various sizes and horsepower (the largest being 320 long with 12,500 horsepower). In- depth experience in preventative and corrective maintenance, as well as both major and minor repairs of EMD, ALCO, Detroit Diesel, Cummins, Caterpillar, Wichmann, Daihatsu, and Perkins. Participated in complete rebuild of several EMD, ALCO, and Caterpillar engines, including the replacement of crankshafts. Logistics Coordinator Daily duties included updating weekly MSOW, accountability reports, ordering and tracking ice deliveries, creating parent/child work orders, and maintaining all files and archiving. Additional duties included coordinating delivery of bulk and bottled water, pickup of trash dumpsters, and servicing of septic waste tanks. Oversaw all aspects of key control and the security of all departmental vehicles. Performed various administrative duties for other departments such as creating Power Point presentations. Generator Mechanic/Admin. Created and managed equipment files, work orders, and SROs and updated and submitted OR reports, LAG reports, Zone Power reports, and Work Instructions.
