March 2010 Nov 2013 Atwood Oceanics Position: Drill Ship Senior Project Materials Controler Shore Based Operations Administrator Senior Materials Controler OSA Location: DSME Korea and Singapore Aurora, Jack-Up Southern Cross, Semi Sub Duties: Promoted Within Atwood to Drill Ship Senior Project Materials Controller in January 2013 Heading a team of 4 personnel working closely with departmental supervisors and management to identify all spare parts and equipment required for a new build Drill Ships. Contacting vendors and companies for their recommended 2 year operational spare parts list; Working closely with the relevant personnel identifying actual requirements; Ordering finalized list from vendors; Keeping accurate records of costs and spares ordered; Entering all spare parts into the MAXIMO stores system after identifying Group commodity codes (SFI) numbers and criticality; Assisting operations management with budget control and prioritizing critical /long lead equipment required for immediate purchase; Establishing a virtual warehouse in Singapore on shore storage facilities to receive and allocate locations of spare parts as they arrive for the rig, prior to the ship arriving for loading in Singapore; Training of personnel in MAXIMO and the receipt and storage of this equipment on shore. Joining the Drill Ships once they arrived in Singapore to supervise the loading and storage of all operational spare parts.
