This document presents research on the strength and durability properties of high-volume fly ash concrete for M40 grade. Fly ash was used to replace cement at rates of 40%, 50%, and 60% by weight. Tests were performed to determine the compressive strength, flexural strength, and chloride ion permeability of the different mixes. The results showed that while early-stage compressive strength decreased with higher fly ash content, later-stage strengths improved. Flexural strength also decreased with more fly ash initially but improved over time. Permeability testing found that chloride ion penetration decreased as fly ash content increased, improving durability. This document presents a study investigating the effect of Portland slag cement (70%) and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) (30%) on the compressive strength of different grades of self-consolidating concrete (SCC) mixes. The Nan-Su mix design was used to develop SCC mixes with grades of M20 to M40. Workability tests found the mixes met EFNARC guidelines. Compressive strength results showed the target mean strength was not achieved for any grades based on IS 10262-2019, and grades M35 and M40 did not meet the characteristic compressive strength. This study investigated the properties of concrete with partial replacement of cement with metakaolin and addition of titanium dioxide. Metakaolin replaced 15% of cement while titanium dioxide was added at 0.6%, 0.8%, 1% and 1.2% levels. Compressive strength and split tensile strength tests were conducted on concrete cubes and cylinders at 7 and 28 days. The results showed that concrete with 15% metakaolin and 1% titanium dioxide addition achieved the highest compressive strength of 35.73 N/mm2 and 51.68 N/mm2 at 7 and 28 days respectively. This document investigates the effect of PEG 400 self-curing compound on the compressive strength of different grades of self-consolidating concrete (SCC) mixes. Nan-Su mix design was used to design SCC mixes with grades from M20 to M40. Workability tests found the slump flow and J-Ring tests met EFNARC guidelines, while V-Funnel and L-Box did not. Compressive strength testing showed M25 and M30 mixes exceeded target strengths, and all grades exceeded characteristic strengths.
