KIND, an NGO focused on empowering disadvantaged children, is holding a fundraising scavenger hunt called Concrete Jungle on December 2nd at Queen's Park Savannah. Teams must solve clues around landmarks to help support KIND's child learning sponsorship program. KIND invites companies and organizations to register teams for prizes, while families can also attend for games and entertainment. Registration forms and payment are due by November 26th.

- 1. Thursday 1st November, 2012 Concrete Jungle Dear citizens of Trinidad and Tobago, Kids In Need of Direction (KIND) is an NGO founded in 1996. Our mission statement is Empowering children, transforming lives and for the past 16 years we have been focused on the pursuit of creative and productive education, counselling and support for children in disadvantaged situations in our country. Our headquarters and literacy centre is located at the corner of Eastern Main Road and Pashley Street in the heart of Laventille. Concrete Jungle promises to be an exciting, enjoyable, fitness and team building experience, all for a very worthy cause. A true Win/Win for your company and our special children! All proceeds from this event will go towards KINDs Sponsor a Child to Learn programme. The scavenger hunt is designed to nurture the skills of management, teamwork, leadership, planning, problem solving, decision making, communication and time management; all of which will benefit your teams. As such, we are inviting you to partner with us for this signature fundraising event which will be held on Sunday 2nd December, 2012 at the Queens Park Savannah (opposite Queens Royal College) from 8:00am-3:00pm. All we ask is that you do your part by registering as many teams as you can for the respective team categories. The registration contribution per team is as follows: Corporate - $1,000; Open - $800; NGO - $800; University Students - $500. This includes refreshments for all team members. Registration deadline is Monday 26th November, 2012. For this exciting event, KIND is proud to join forces with the Volunteer Center or Trinidad and Tobago (VCTT) an NGO dedicated to harnessing and mobilizing volunteers and their resources for the benefit of the wider public and My Team Events-an events management company that caters to corporate enterprises to provide them with fun, safe and valuable team building events. Each team must comprise four (4) members and will be required to solve clues and complete tasks around the Queens Park Savannah. Clues will be challenging and based on the rich history of places, landmarks, monuments and sites in and around the worlds largest roundabout. In addition, there will be fantastic prizes which include a weekend for four (4) at Magdalena Grand Beach Resort, Tobago; Ruby Tuesday gift certificates, passes for 10 to Harrys Water Park, up to $5,000.00 in cash prizes, Cold Stone vouchers, hampers and much more.
