I received my PhD in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Savitribai
Phule Pune University. And I have been working as a full time faculty in the Department
of Computer Engineering at the S. S, P. M.’s College of Engineering Kankavali,
affiliated to University of Mumbai since January 2003 to till date. I am having total
of more than 19 years uniform full time UGC approved teaching experience.

{ My thesis was submitted in April of 2021, and it was reviewed and accepted by three
reviewers at the international, national, and state levels.
Brief Information about Research Publications
{ My research has been published in 14 different publications, including Web of
Sicence (WOS), scopus and UGC listed, and Google Scholars indexed international
journals (04), scopus indexed international book chapters (01), some scopes indexed
international conferences (06), and national conferences (03).
{ I have published one research article in the peer reviewed Web of Science indexed
international journal "International Journal of Image and Graphics"at Singapore. I
have written a chapter for the book "Inventive Communication and Computational
Technologies" and the book has been recently published in the month of January
2022 by Springer (Singapore), one of the international world’s leading publishers.

{ The primary goal of education is to promote a person’s holistic
development and enhance the lives of youngsters.
{ Adopting a appropriate teaching method to meet our learning goals, is
one of the important part of effective teaching.
{ Effective teaching involves aligning the three major components
of instruction: Learning objectives, Assessments, and Instructional
activities.
{ Gathering relevant information about students and utilising that
information to course design and classroom instruction is the key to
effective teaching.
{ Student performance on formal writing assignments and tests also
serves as a benchmark for assessing student progress both within and
across semesters.
{ One aspect of the teaching-learning process is evaluating students’
performance, and I believe that if we establish proper rubrics to evaluate
students’ performance, we will not only increase students’ performance
but also give us with a fair review.
{ As future educator, we must inspire students to learn through exploring,
investigating, discovering, and inquiring.
{ I constantly improve my teaching techniques by attending workshops
offered by various institutes such as IITs and AICTE, as well as seeking
informal counsel with experienced colleagues.

Research Plan
-
{ In the next five years I want to focus on a research areas that can
immediately extend the availability and utility of technology to our
society. The perspective of my research plan is to try to apply current
engineering and technology principles to the field of medical health
care.
{ One of my research plan’s short-term goals is to use my research
skills in the fields of medical image analysis, artificial intelligence, and
machine learning to diagnose diseases like Diabetic Retinopathy and
Maculopathy.
{ As a part of my research work I have developed a deep learning based
technique using a new grey wolf based optimization method for Diabetic
Retinopathy detection.
{ Actually now I want to use a real time retina images, captured using
smart phone’s camera to diagnose the severity of Diabetic Retinoapathy.
{ So in near future my research work will concentrate on how to use
smart phones to capture retina images of diabetic patients.
