Curvature¡¯s Testing Environment, otherwise known as CuTE, is an Operating System that allows Curvature engineers to efficiently and reliably test servers and storage equipment.

DATA SHEET Introduces Our Proprietary Testing Environment Curvature¡¯s Testing Environment, otherwise known as CTE, is an Operating System that allows Curvature engineers to efficiently and reliably test servers and storage equipment. Our Operating System is a Linux image that packages a collection of utilities and diagnostic tools along with our own proprietary software. It provides an environment to run the tools, stress test, and verify component functionality with an emphasis on items known to have a high failure rate. Hardware Testing Utility ( HTU ) is Curvature¡¯s own proprietary software, a simple menu based system that will execute multiple complex operations with a single key, allowing for technicians to easily interpret output and to help minimize errors. Upon completion, HTU will generate a plain text document containing all the test results and desired component information. The test results are formatted in such a way as to ease reading by non-technical people and is organized neatly to be presentable to a client. Almost all OEMs offer a diagnostic tool to troubleshoot their hardware, however, these tools¡¯ main purpose are to troubleshoot an issue after it has occurred. With CTE we are able to evaluate hardware for signs of fatigue by monitoring lifetime hours, voltage and temperature levels. CTE allows us to get an accurate health status of a device. Handling a large volume of inventory annually, we have been able to compile a list of components known to have a high failure rate. CTE

Curvature's Testing Environment (CuTE) for Servers

DATA SHEET Introduces Our Proprietary Testing Environment Curvature¡¯s Testing Environment, otherwise known as CTE, is an Operating System that allows Curvature engineers to efficiently and reliably test servers and storage equipment. Our Operating System is a Linux image that packages a collection of utilities and diagnostic tools along with our own proprietary software. It provides an environment to run the tools, stress test, and verify component functionality with an emphasis on items known to have a high failure rate. Hardware Testing Utility ( HTU ) is Curvature¡¯s own proprietary software, a simple menu based system that will execute multiple complex operations with a single key, allowing for technicians to easily interpret output and to help minimize errors. Upon completion, HTU will generate a plain text document containing all the test results and desired component information. The test results are formatted in such a way as to ease reading by non-technical people and is organized neatly to be presentable to a client. Almost all OEMs offer a diagnostic tool to troubleshoot their hardware, however, these tools¡¯ main purpose are to troubleshoot an issue after it has occurred. With CTE we are able to evaluate hardware for signs of fatigue by monitoring lifetime hours, voltage and temperature levels. CTE allows us to get an accurate health status of a device. Handling a large volume of inventory annually, we have been able to compile a list of components known to have a high failure rate. CTE
