I believe that any job is worth doing well. I have worked since the age of 13 in local pubs as a kitchen porter and bar worker. I am a very versatile worker and will all ways pick up new roles quickly and efficiently, I am happy and sociable person, who enjoys company of all sorts and am impossible to be put into a bad mood. I am currently studying Automotive Engineering at UWE. I am looking for work that I can fit around my university course. But I am happy to work as many shifts as possible and always happy to help out by picking up and covering shifts when ever I am able. Through out my working life I have never been fired only ever let go due to lack of work or sessional work. Work History: The Tolcarne Inn (Newlyn) 2008 – 2010 Waiter and Kitchen Porter: Table Service, keeping the work area clean and safe, using dishwasher, cleaning kitchen. The Old Coastguard Hotel (Mousehole) 2010 – 2014 Bar Tender: serving alcohol, making coffee & tea, operating the till, stock count, refilling shelves etc. Kitchen Porter: keeping the work area clean and safe, Using dishwasher, preparing food, assisting chef, and occasional deep clean of whole kitchen. The Ship Inn (Mousehole) 2011 – 2012 Kitchen Porter: keeping the work area clean and safe, Using dishwasher, clean kitchen. South West Paintball (Penzance) 2011 + (possible sessional work) Games Marshal: running games and insuring the safety of all players (including safety brief), Cleaning and maintenance of equipment and arenas, greeting and looking after customers.

Little India Restaurant (Penzance) 2014 + (possible sessional work) Kitchen Hand: washing pans plates and kitchen equipment, keeping kitchen clean and safe, chopping and peeling vegetables, preparing rice, salads or starter dishes. Delivery Driver: Collecting deliveries and Planning my route to destination, driving (my car) to the destination, taking directions from the customers when on delivery, dealing with customer satisfaction and exchange of money. All of which had to be done as quick as possible but also as safely as curry could leak. Pret A Manger (Cabot Circus) 2014 - 2015 F.O. team member: clearing and cleaning tables, dealing with customer satisfaction, cleaning down of whole shop as well as following a regular cleaning router. Till opperater: taking orders and relaying them to correct members of staff, transition of money, traying up coffee’s/pastries, cooking tosties, cleaning cups and equipment. Deliveries: Taking deliveries across the city either by taxi or foot, using my knowledge of Bristol and my phone Advertisement: Throughout my working life I have always had little bits of advertisement work whether through friends and family running local events or shops, I have also had work from employers during quite times of the year doing such things as: door to door hand outs/letters, on the street handing out discounts/leaflets. But by far the most advertising I have done came from being in a band for over 5 years! We would put on local events our self, hiring the venue, security and support acts. This took lots of organising but also a lot of advertising to fill the venues. I would put up posters in shops or notice boards, hand out flyers and get other bands to promote our events, as a lot of people would hear it through word of mouth. We also had quite a strong Facebook following and so a page that took a lot of keeping up with and regular updates. We also entered completions/supported major acts where we were responsible for selling the tickets. Other Jobs: I have had many other small jobs during my employed life such as working for a local house moving company, or waiting at weddings with a catering company. After leaving the old coastguard I have worked more jobs which where only temporary due
- 3. to the amount of work available. These jobs included: labouring with a local builder, setting up/packing down 2 festival (3 Chords festival and design & crafts Fair) and also voluntary stewarding, car valeting for a car park (IOS parking). Hobbies and Interests: My biggest passion has always been for cars and paintballing, but I have also played lead guitar in a band for over 5 years playing gigs at festivals and local events such as BoardMasters, PortElliot & Run To The Sun.
