 Total professional experience is 5 years in Shipbuilding Industry. Currently working as
“SINIOR ENGINEER” at BHARATI DEFENCE & INFRASTRUCTURE LTD,
MANGLORE, INDIA. BHARATI DEFENCE & INFRASTRUCTURE LTD is a leading
shipyard with ISO and BV certification where different types of Platform Supply Vessels,
AHTS, Rigs, container vessels, Passenger vessels etc are built. We have 6 yards all over

Designation: Assistant Engineer (Hull & Structural Outfitting, Ship repair)
Key Responsibilities:
 Review the structural drawings, Specifications, verify quantities and ensure the accurate
calculations for the steel structural Blocks.
 Prepare the schedule for Fabrication, Erection and carry out the production inspection
as per the plan.
 Coordinate with contractors, consultants, Suppliers, etc.
 Coordinate with other departments to plan and carry out the production activities.
 Carry out the Hull Steel structural Blocks, Foundations and Bulk Handling Systems
(Pressure Vessels) fabrication work such as fabrication, assembly and erection etc.
according to the design, standards and Technical Specification.
 Carry out Alignment Inspection, Welding inspection, Air Pressure Test (APT) ,Hose Test
, Vacuum Test and Hydro Test of Tanks, Bulk Handling Systems(Pressure Vessel) and
Compartments.
 Ensuring the quality of production as per standards.
 Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems may arise.
 Provide feedback on all the technical & procedural problems on daily basis.
 Preparing Weekly, Monthly Production Report and planning report as per the Master
plan.
 Interact with Classification societies,Owner Representatives and with Quality
department to ensure the quality standards.
 Estimating the work orders and bills of the Fabrication, Assembly, Erection and other
supply works.
 Maintaining highest safety standards ensuring adherence to safety procedures and
observance of safe working practice.
 Fabrication and testing of pressure vessel.
B) Experience: 6th Jun 2012– Till date
Designation: Senior Engineer (QA/QC Department both new building & repair)
Key Responsibilities:
 Preparation of QAP as per Specification of vessel.

 Coordinate with planning & design department to resolve drawing issue.
 Updating the class and owner recommendations.
 Inspection of Fitment & Alignment of Structural Members before and after welding.
 Qualification of Welders and Approval of Welding Procedures.
 Preparation of WPS
 Carry out Air Pressure Test (APT), Hose Test, Vacuum Test and Hydro Test of Tanks,
Bulk Handling Systems (Pressure Vessel) and Compartments.
 Welding knowledge of MIG,TIG,SMAW,FCAW & SAW identification of its defects
 Review NDT Status(RT,UT,LPT & MPT)

 Coordinate with class surveyors (GL,DNV,.BV,IRS,ABS) and clients
 Basic knowledge of Shipbuilding standards (IACS,ASME Sec.IX,SOLAS,.ISO9606,EN287,
EN288 ,ABS,DNV,IRS)
 Knowledge of working in ANCHOR HANDLING TUGS, PLATFORM SUPPLY VESSELS,
DRDO Vessel, PASSENGER VESSEL & Coast Guard Aluminium speed boats.
 Inspection of pipe fabrication and fitting & its dry survey
