WHAT is Cyber Gaming ? Cyber gaming is virtual reality which partakes in interactive gaming, such as video games or board games. There are many gamer communities around the world. Many of these take the form of discussion forums and other virtual communities, as well as college or university social clubs.
History of Cyber Gaming In 2000, the World Cyber Games was formed, and an event was held titled "The World Cyber Game Challenge", which began with an opening ceremony on 7 October. As of 2011, the World Cyber Games was the largest global electronic sport tournament, with divisions in various countries. The World Cyber Games, backed financially by Samsung, was considered the e-sports Olympics. Now every year it takes place in different countries.
Tournaments of cyber gaming The World Cyber Games (WCG) was an international competitive video-gaming (e-sports) event operated by South Korean company World Cyber Games Inc. and sponsored by Samsung Electronics and Microsoft. WCG events attempted to emulate a traditional sporting tournament, such as the Olympic Games; events included an official opening ceremony, and players from various countries competing for gold, silver and bronze medals.
Cyber Gaming as career Many people has chosen cyber gaming as their career. Last year E-sports gave away $500,000 USD as Prize money. Darryl Koh Pei Xiang, a gamer earned over $370,000 USD last year. And this doesnt include his salary. Even in Bangladesh there are some Professional gamers now.
Cyber gaming in Bangladesh Every year several tournaments on cyber gaming takes place in Bangladesh. On 2008 , 9 gamers from our country represent Bangladesh on WCG in Germany. A website named Banglagamers.com has been build to help the new gamers of our country.
