Dating should involve getting to know many people through group activities, remaining steady through highs and lows, and keeping one's own standards. Group dating relieves pressure and provides safety while learning about relationships. The dangers of early pairing include violence, heartache, and poor choices, so teenagers should date only when comfortable and use group activities to socialize.

Sydney Snider, Felicity-Franklin
“Life
is
10%
what
happens
to
you
and
90%
how
you
react.”
This
is
my
FFA
Advisor’s
favorite
quote.
She
reminds
us
of
this
lesson
constantly
and
for
me,
it’s
become
something
to
live
by.
While
I
didn’t
know
it
at
the
Ime,
my
desire
to
serve
as
an
Ohio
FFA
State
Officer
began
my
first
day
of
high
school.
The
moment
I
stepped
into
my
agriculture
educaIon
class
and
became
a
member
of
the
largest
youth
organizaIon
in
America,
my
life
was
forever
changed!
In
middle
school,
I
was
the
quiet
girl
who
never
strayed
from
her
comfort
zone.
For
me,
high
school
seemed
like
a
huge
step
out
of
my
comfort
zone
and
it
absolutely
terrified
me!
But,
the
moment
I
stepped
into
my
agriculture
educaIon
class
my
fears
melted
away
and
high
school
didn’t
seem
as
bad.
My
FFA
advisor
knew
I
was
not
very
comfortable
with
trying
new
things
and
that
with
me;
she
had
her
work
cut
out
for
her.
Through
the
next
couple
months,
she
began
challenging
me
to
step
out
of
my
comfort
zone
and
try
new
things.
Reluctantly,
I
did!
I
quickly
found
I
enjoyed
parIcipaIng
in
CDE’s,
being
a
part
of
commiXees
and
interacIng
with
other
members.
She
helped
me
to
see
how
much
my
reacIon
to
her
encouragement
impacted
my
life.
I’m
no
longer
afraid
to
try
new
things
or
leave
my
comfort
zone.
I
owe
my
growth
to
this
amazing
organizaIon
and
the
support
of
my
advisor.
She
believed
in
me
from
day
one
and
helped
me
to
discover
my
potenIal
through
my
reacIons
to
her
encouragement.
I
desire
to
be
an
Ohio
FFA
State
Officer
because,
like
my
advisor,
I
want
to
help
those
who
are
afraid
to
step
out
of
their
comfort
zones
and
be
a
part
of
their
journey
to
find
their
full
potenIal.
By
serving
the
organizaIon
that
has
strongly
impacted
my
life;
I
can
conInue
to
encourage
others
to
always
react
posiIvely
so
they
too
may
find
their
potenIal
because:
“Life
is
10%
what
happens
to
you
and
90%
how
you
react!”
Hallie Sue Hiser, Greeneview-GCCC
“FFA
members,
why
are
we
here?
TAP,
TAP,
TAP.”
There
are
many
reasons
why
students
choose
to
be
a
part
of
the
great
organizaIon,
we
cal
FFA.
However,
as
we
grow
in
our
experiences,
every
member
finds
a
new
sense
of
confidence
by
pu]ng
on
their
blue
corduroy
jackets
and
standing
with
their
peers
for
all
to
see.
The
two
powerful
words
in
every
paragraph
of
the
FFA
Creed,
“I
believe,”
truly
have
helped
me
beXer
understand
who
I
am.
I
know
if
“I
believe”
in
myself,
I
can
do
anything
to
which
I
set
my
mind.
Through
FFA
and
agricultural
educaIon,
I
have
parIcipated
in
community
service
projects,
helping
me
find
the
person
I
am
inside
and
creaIng
those
requisite
qualiIes
of
FFA
leadership.
FFA
has
further
li^ed
my
enthusiasm
for
agriculture
and
leadership,
helping
me
become
an
advocate
for
agriculture
in
my
community.
Without
my
knowledge
of
either,
I
would
not
be
where
I
am
today.
I
realize
applying
to
be
an
Ohio
FFA
Officer
is
a
tremendous
opportunity
which
comes
with
hard
work
and
great
responsibility,
but
I
believe
my
agricultural
educaIon
and
FFA
experiences
will
guide
me
to
become
the
best
officer
I
can
be.
My
enthusiasm
has
grown
with
my
desire
to
serve
others
and
knowing
that
others
benefited
from
my
service
as
well
as
brightening
another’s
day
through
selfless
acts.
My
greatest
love
is
to
help
students
see
what
agriculture
does
for
them
while
showing
them
that
they
can
help
“lead
out
loud”
in
their
communiIes
and
spread
the
facts
about
agriculture
to
all.
“I
believe
that
the
next
generaIon
will
be
beXer
able
to
serve
because
we
are
well-‐educated
in
the
acts
of
service,
leadership,
and
agriculture.
As
tomorrow’s
leaders,
we
will
hold
true
to
the
best
tradiIons
of
our
naIonal
life
and
can
exert
a
construcIve
influence
in
our
communiIes
which
will
stand
solid
for
the
future.
By
“learning
to
do,
doing
to
learn,
earning
to
live,
living
to
serve”
we
can
build
stronger
communiIes
and
lifestyles.
Having
found
my
infinite
potenIal;
it’s
my
turn
to
help
others
find
theirs.
