Greece has the longest coastline in Europe and mountainous terrain including the Pindus Mountains and Mount Olympus, the highest point in Greece. Greece is bordered by Turkey, Albania, Bulgaria, and Macedonia and surrounded by the Aegean, Ionian, and Mediterranean Seas. The islands of Greece include Thera, an eastern part of an exploded volcano that was occupied as early as 12,000 BC. Greece has a Mediterranean climate with average temperatures ranging from 14 to 23 degrees Celsius and natural resources including lignite, petroleum, iron ore and bauxite.

Kuwait borders Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf. Its largest bay is called Morrow Bay. The country has a large desert called the Sahara that covers 3.5 million square miles and its highest mountain is Al Awjah. Kuwait's natural resources include petroleum, shrimp, fish and natural gas. Summers are very hot at 48 Celsius while winters are milder at 21 Celsius. The official language is Arabic but English is also widely spoken.

The Delta region is the best area for farming where the Nile splits before reaching the Mediterranean Sea.

The flag symbolizes revolution and communist leadership. Major natural resources are coal, iron, oil, gas, and minerals. Inventions include paper, the compass, and gunpowder. The climate varies regionally from temperate to tropical.

1) An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 struck West Sumatra on September 30, 2009, destroying many buildings in Padang city and surrounding villages. 2) The earthquake damaged over 180,000 buildings and caused a death toll that was expected to reach thousands. 3) In the aftermath, relief efforts were focused on search and rescue operations, clearing debris, preventing disease outbreaks, and setting up temporary shelters and classrooms for displaced residents.

China, South America, and Japan have been the largest contributors to overfishing, with capture rates exceeding 500% of sustainable levels. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. It is a gas giant made primarily of hydrogen and helium gases that appear yellowish on the outside. In the center, the gases are compressed into a dense, chewy caramel-like state. Jupiter has 16 moons and has a day that is just under 10 hours and takes nearly 12 of our years to orbit the sun. Over 1,300 Earths could fit inside Jupiter, which is large enough to swallow our planet.
