Warehouse Supervisor
I ensured consistent on-time deliveries to customers of all finished goods to meet
daily shipping requirements with no window time violations, including sending ASN's
and completing other shipping paperwork, as needed. I do daily automotive "Covisint
SMART" checks and consult with the Production Control Manager to resolve any
issues that could jeopardize these objectives. I also led team members in quality
improvement efforts, while also ensuring proper training, discipline, morale and safety
practices are met. I established and maintain good housekeeping practices on my
shift using CAPS principles, Lean Manufacturing, 6-Sigma and Kaizen principals. I
kept the maintenance personnel informed of any mechanical or electrical problems on
process equipment, and performed other miscellaneous duties assigned by the
Production Control Manager. I also acted as Head Count Coordinator during
emergency plant evacuations, and ensure my department was compliant with all TS-
16949 and ISO-14001 policies and standards, as well as all EEO and Affirmative
Action Plan policies.
