Points Rummy is a fast-paced variant of Rummy where each game lasts one deal and the player with the best valid sequence combination of cards wins all points from the other players. The objective is to arrange cards into at least two sequences, including one pure sequence, or sets. Players take turns drawing and discarding cards until someone declares their sequences and sets, or drops out early. Scoring is based on the cards left in losing hands, with special rules for early drops or invalid declarations. The winner collects the total points from all losers multiplied by the point value for the table.

Points Rummy is the fastest, simplest
variant of Rummy where players play
for points with pre-decided rupee
value.
Fastest because each game lasts for 1
deal only.
Simplest because one winner wins all
the cash at the end of each game.

Objective
Arrange all 13 cards in-hand in
sequences and/or sets. The cards in
hand are arranged to form at least
two sequences, out of which one has
to be a pure sequence. The other
remaining cards can be arranged in
valid sequences and/or sets.

Gameplay
* Random toss decides the player who
will make the first move.
* Wild Joker is randomly selected and
13 cards are dealt to each player.
* First card from the pack is placed in
the open deck.
* Remaining cards are placed face-
down.
* Each player takes turns to pick/discard
a card from closed/open deck to
complete sets and/or sequences

Note:
In case a Printed Joker is selected
as joker, then Ace card of any suit is
used as a joker in their sets /
sequences.
Must :
To finish the game, you must
declare at least two sequences, one
of which must be a pure sequence.
Caution :
With two decks, you cannot use the
same card twice in a set. For
instance - 5? 5? 5? is not a valid

Declare:
* Discard one of the cards in the finish slot.
* Click on the 'Declare' button.
* Group and declare your sets and
sequences.
Drop:
* Each player gets an option to drop the
game in their turn, throughout the game
duration.
* To avail the Drop option, the player must
not have picked a card from open/closed
deck in that turn.

♂ First Drop : If a player drops the game in
their very first turn, they get 20 points.
♂ Middle Drop : If a player drops the game
in a turn other than the first, they get 40
points.
♂ Missed Turns : If a player misses 3
consecutive turns, he/she is dropped from
the game. This means that this player gets
40 points.
♂ Disconnection Scenario : If a player gets
disconnected, they are dropped from the
game and get 40 points.

Scoring Pattern
1. Each card carries a certain number of points. The
losing player gets points equal to their hand score :
♂ J, Q, K, A of any suit carry 10 points each.
♂ Numbered cards carry the same points as their value.
♂ Joker cards carry zero points.
2. At the end of the game, a losing player's hand score is
computed by adding points for cards that are not grouped
as sets/sequences with the following exceptions.
♂ If there are no pure sequence, all cards are counted.
♂ If the loser does not have two sequences, but has a
pure sequence, only the pure sequence is not counted.

3. Full count : Maximum points that a player
can get in one game is 80.
Considering HS - Hand Score | PTs - Points.
* If HS<80 then PTs = HS
* If HS>=80 then PTs = 80
4. Special Case 1 : If the losing player has not
had his first turn before the opponent has made a
valid declaration, then they get 20 points.
5. Special Case 2 : If a player declares without
meeting the game objective, they get 80 points
and the game continues till there is a winner.

* Five players play on ＆Rs. 5 per point＊ table and a
player declares the game and wins all the cash lost
by other players.
* If the four players lose with 10,20,30,and 40
points respectively, the winner＊s cash amount will
be calculated as: 5 x (10 + 20 + 30 + 40) = Rs. 500

2. Points Rummy is the fastest, simplest variant of Rummy where players play for points with pre-decided rupee value. Fastest because each game lasts for 1 deal only. Simplest because one winner wins all the cash at the end of each game. @DeccanRummy it is all the more easier and simpler :)

3. Objective Arrange all 13 cards in-hand in sequences and/or sets. The cards in hand are arranged to form at least two sequences, out of which one has to be a pure sequence. The other remaining cards can be arranged in valid sequences and/or sets.

4. Gameplay * Random toss decides the player who will make the first move. * Wild Joker is randomly selected and 13 cards are dealt to each player. * First card from the pack is placed in the open deck. * Remaining cards are placed face- down. * Each player takes turns to pick/discard a card from closed/open deck to complete sets and/or sequences

5. Note: In case a Printed Joker is selected as joker, then Ace card of any suit is used as a joker in their sets / sequences. Must : To finish the game, you must declare at least two sequences, one of which must be a pure sequence. Caution : With two decks, you cannot use the same card twice in a set. This means that this player gets 40 points. ♂ Disconnection Scenario : If a player gets disconnected, they are dropped from the game and get 40 points.

8. Scoring Pattern 1. Each card carries a certain number of points. The losing player gets points equal to their hand score : ♂ J, Q, K, A of any suit carry 10 points each. ♂ Numbered cards carry the same points as their value. ♂ Joker cards carry zero points. 2. At the end of the game, a losing player's hand score is computed by adding points for cards that are not grouped as sets/sequences with the following exceptions. ♂ If there are no pure sequence, all cards are counted. ♂ If the loser does not have two sequences, but has a pure sequence, only the pure sequence is not counted.

9. 3. Full count : Maximum points that a player can get in one game is 80. Considering HS - Hand Score | PTs - Points. * If HS<80 then PTs = HS * If HS>=80 then PTs = 80 4. Special Case 1 : If the losing player has not had his first turn before the opponent has made a valid declaration, then they get 20 points. 5.
