This either represented girl power or specific aspects of the album. This gave us many ideas of what type of images to use for our own digipack and what angles to shoot from. However, when thinking about what to display on the actual disk, we realised that more research needed to be done in terms of what our chosen genre complies to.
- 2. Name of Producer Group Firstly, we researched what Rights popular and mainstream girl groups presented on the majority of their CD disks. On one of Destinys Childs CDs, there is no image but rather just the title of the song and the name of Title of the group. Song Underneath this information is a Specific smaller size font displaying specific Track Info. track details such as album version and timbaland remix. Around the disk, there is also information regarding the rights of the producer and additional information about the track. For example: SEE SLEEVE FOR CREDITS. Additional Information
- 3. Image of Band Member Contrasting from Destinys Childs CD disk, TLC on their Rights second album decided to use images of each of the members. The images almost fade into the background of the disk (in Name this case the colour blue). of However their features, Album primarily their eyes, are presented in a very bold and prominent way which immediately relates to the title of the album Crazy Sexy Cool. Image of Even though the CD disk Band Member Image of differs in terms of the use of Band images, the information printed Member on the disk remains the same.
- 4. Name of Similar to that of Destinys Child, Album En Vogues CD disk consists of Name of text only and no images. Group The text displayed on the disk is once again of the same information in terms of the name of the band, the title of the album and additional information. In this case, the additional information reveals details about the production company Warner Music.
