This document discusses examples of open education practices and open pedagogy in geography at UBC, including a Stanley Park virtual reality experience created by students and faculty from geography, computer science, and media studies with help from local VR experts and university groups. It also notes that the average cost of textbooks for an associate degree in British Columbia is $112.55 CAD, with a 95% confidence interval of $122.29 to $102.81.
