Douglas Dean has over 30 years of experience developing and implementing environmental health and safety management systems based on regulatory compliance and international standards. He received his degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida in 1982. Currently, he serves as the Corporate Health and Safety Administrator at Seminole Electric Cooperative, Inc., where he administers their health and safety program modeled after the ANSI Z10 standard. Prior to this role, he owned a consulting firm providing EHS services and held senior EHS roles at other firms, managing a wide range of projects and gaining expertise in areas including regulatory compliance, auditing, and industrial hygiene.
