The SWWE Regional Network were very pleased to welcome Aalok Sonawala, Head of PMO, National Programmes, Rider Levett Bucknall on 26 February, to BAWA for our first face to face event of 2025. Aalok is a member of APM’s Thames Valley Regional Network and also speaks to members of APM’s PMO Interest Network, which aims to facilitate collaboration and learning, offer unbiased advice and guidance.
Tonight, Aalok planned to discuss the importance of a PMO within project-based organisations, the different types of PMO and their key elements, PMO governance and centres of excellence.
PMO’s within an organisation can be centralised, hub and spoke with a central PMO with satellite PMOs globally, or embedded within projects. The appropriate structure will be determined by the specific business needs of the organisation. The PMO sits above PM delivery and the supply chain delivery teams.

specific to the ER automation in an intranet specific to a
company there by allowing the integration of all the

marketing, development etc.
ï‚¢ The ERP center is a powerful application designed to allow
companies to streamline their employee recognizer tasks and
manage their employees more efficiently

10. STRENGTH OF ERP
ï‚¢ To bring onto a string the employee specific suggestions and make them
free to post their requirements to the ER thus bringing the organization
more specific regarding the maintenance of the organization.
ï‚¢ To allow the ER of an organization to update the employee details when
ever there is a change in the employee profile pertaining to that
organization.
ï‚¢ The ER Center includes a comprehensive employee information
database, where employers can information, work information,
beneficiary information, and more for each employee.

employees to update their personal information, request time off
or input their daily timesheet entries
11. FUTURE OF ERP
This intranet application has been developed to be implemented in
place of existing manual system. This application provides effective
appraisal system for the employees by evaluating their performances
and retains the present functionality available in the current system.
The specific purpose of this system is to store and process information
about different tasks, weightage, self ratings and final rating at different
stages and generates the reports as and when required. The
administrator is responsible for maintenance of this system.
12. CONCLUSION

the organization. The project maintains the details
of the entire employee. Each employee is given
with different employee Id.
ï‚¢ It gives the facility to the superior to manage the
employees data easly .
