AIESEC Romania is halfway towards achieving its 2015 goals. Key achievements from 2010 include growth in the Global Internship Program and Global Citizenship Development Program. However, there was a decrease in Talent Mobility Program realizations in 2012. For the next 3 years, AIESEC Romania needs to focus on talent development and increasing efficiency to achieve higher growth rates. Improving matching capabilities will also be important to reduce the number of skipped exchanges. New initiatives around EU funds awareness and inter-LC exchanges could help attract more international participants to projects in Romania.Blank paper challenge

Poland and Romania were similar 30 years ago but Poland is now more developed due to its closer proximity to Western Europe, allowing it to receive more help from those countries after joining the EU. While some Poles and Romanians have left for opportunities abroad, others are returning with skills, money, and business contacts to help develop their home countries. However, many still face poor working conditions and low respect. The author believes AIESEC can help build awareness of 21st century circumstances and foster positive cultural exchange to ensure all people's lives are respected and they have the right to happiness. The goal is for Poland and Romania to develop together through cooperation rather than growing further apart.Bio

- 1. Executive summary I decided to apply for MCVP GCDPi in AIESEC in Romania because of three main factors. I strongly believe in AIESEC values and goals, I want to implement and spread them. Because of my previous experience, skills and knowledge I figured that MCVP position is the most relevant for me: to give me a chance to achieve the first goal, and to teach me something new in exchange as well. And finally: Romania, because it is perfect combination of feeling like in home and experiencing something new. There is no other country, I have ever been to, I would see bigger potential in. In my application I focus on analytical assessment of situation in AIESEC in Romania and I propose sustainable solutions based on my AIESEC experience, non-AIESEC experience and theoretical knowledge. In my strategy you can read about technical ideas, which, in my opinion will help to improve GCDPi area, some of them could be also implemented in GIPi area. For those LCs that feel strong enough to start new adventure with new project I offer some solutions as well. Some of my ideas are inter-departmental. I heavily believe that my specific personality combined with other advantages can make positive impact on MC and whole AIESEC in Romania. My different point of view, head full of ideas and ability to critical thinking are welcome not only in MC member as a manager of one of departments, but as a valuable member of the team. My experience from two GCDP projects gives MCVP GCDPi position very valuable advantages. In opinion of many of AIESECers who after LC experience took part in exchange the second one gives a lot more. However LC experience teaches a lot, nothing changes your life as GCDP. At the end I would like to thank to hundreds of people who made me who I am, who made me believe in the surrounding World and People, to hundreds of people who helped me and made me start helping others. Dear AIESEC in Romania, now I want to ask you to give me a chance to pay this responsibility forward by accepting me as your representative in MC in Romania term 2013-2014 responsible for GCDPi.
